Thanks to Brian Scott of Blue State Conservatives for the New Banner and a Place to Talk About Politics and Media in the Free State of Maryland

Brian Scott is Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Blue State Conservatives, a group blog of folks with a Red State of Mind who happen to live in Blue States. He's also one of those folks who looks at a perfectly good Blogger banner and immediately thinks he can make it better.

As you can see from the above new banner for Tapscott's Copy Desk, he took a conventional Blogger banner and replaced it with one of his own design that is definitely better. I think he's done a superb job of capturing the colonial era look and feel that I love and combining it with the textual declarations of purpose that make Tapscott's Copy Desk unique in the Blogosphere. Thank you, Brian!

By the way, since I live in the very Blue State of Maryland, Brian and his fellow Blue State Conservatives asked me to join their ranks, which I am happy to say I have done. So now you can get an idea of what daily life is like for those of us who must endure residing under entrenched liberal Democrat state establishments by adding Blue State Conservatives to your daily Blogosphere tour.

I view life in a really, really Blue State like Maryland as akin to being an F-15 pilot diving on a swarm of Fokker-flying Red Barons of the Left. In other words, there is never a shortage of liberal folly, foolishness or fantasy upon which to take aim! You can check out my first two BSC posts here and here.
