CNN's Anderson Cooper May do Late Segment on OU Suicide Bomber With Tapscott's Copy Desk
A CNN producer called this morning with a request that I go on Cooper's program this evening to talk about the OU Suicide Bomber story. Cooper airs from 10 - 12 pm so it will be a bit of a late night if the segment actually comes off. More details to come later. It's still early in the day, so plans could change as this Friday develops.
UPDATE: 1:30 p.m.
Cooper is under the weather today so Aaron Brown is handling the program tonight. I'm heading over to CNN's Washington Bureau at 2:00 for a taping as part of the intro segment to the live interview later tonight.
UPDATE: 6:00 p.m.
Interesting day. I taped two sessions, the latter with host Aaron Brown and Pat Demuro (SP?), a former FBI agent who seemed almost as unconvinced as I am of the lone suicide scenario that has been the official explanation since only a few hours after Hinrichs died. Don't know what time the segment will air tonight, but it will be on at some point during the 10-12 p.m. time slot normally hosted by Anderson Cooper.
