Wisconsin Cheese Heads Riot Over Lombardi Cartoon; Protests Coming to D.C. Next?

Iowahawk has the details on the unexpected rioting in Wisconsin sparked by a cartoon lampooning the immortal Green Bay Packers head coach Vince Lombardi. Protestors are outraged at the caricature of the man who led the Pack to victory in the first two Super Bowls.

As police in Washawonamowackapeepee sought desperately last night to control the violence, speculation increased that some of the rioters would hijack fleets of Winnebagos and EZ Travel Trailers and head to the nation's capitol.

Why? Because Lombardi's career ended when he suffered a heart attack after coming out of retirement from the Packers to coach the Washington Redskins. Local lore has it that Lombardi's fatal moment was caused when he had a vision of one of quarterback Billy Kilmer's "wounded duck" passes.

Metropolitian Police of D.C. have been placed on high alert status and were reported to be establishing road blocks at several local sports bars in anticipation of possible violence.
